By Air

Once you reach Dehradun, you can hire a taxi or use public transport like buses/autos to reach the city of Rishikesh.

By Rail

'Yog Nagri' is the Railway Station of Rishikesh that lies approx 8 kms before Tapovan or Laxman Jhula. Second nearest railway station is located in Haridwar, at a distance of 28 kms. Haridwar is connected by all the major cities in India. From both the railway stations, one can reach Tapovan (Rishikesh) by taxi or public transport.

By Road

There is provision of regular bus service from Delhi, Haridwar and Dehradun to reach Rishikesh. Tourists can choose bus or shared or private taxis/cabs to reach Rishikesh. Within Rishikesh, one can opt to take auto-rickshaws or buses to travel to short distances.
